Cougar Global integrates investment management with financial planning. Vicki Breech works to educate our clients about Cougar Global’s unique approach to ETF investment management. Vicki meets with and fully support clients transitioning assets to Cougar Global. She then documents a long term plan for an investment portfolio, taking into consideration all stated client goals and objectives.
Under the supervision of the portfolio manager, she then develops an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) from information gathered in discussions with clients.
Out of the IPS, Vicki will define a Minimal Acceptable Return. The MAR/ Global Tactical strategy articulates a client’s “Financial Profile”. An IPS with a clearly defined MAR/ Global Tactical Strategy helps to keep the long-term goal on the horizon.
She will provide scenario analysis and consulting services for all clients on an as needed basis. Additionally, she offers comprehensive financial planning services for clients with a minimum account size of $500k. A financial plan typically encompasses the following components:
Investing for Retirement: From the perspective of pre-retirement, approaching retirement, and post retirement stages of life.
Estate Planning: Making the most of what a client earns over a lifetime so beneficiaries receive the maximum allowed by law, without unnecessary fees or taxes, and without delay.
Insurance Needs Analysis: The role of insurance: Personal forms of insurance – life and disability, insurance needs analysis, and corporate insurance.
Tax Planning: Strategies for tax minimization, the use of registered and non-registered account structures; intergenerational wealth transfer, use of trust and corporate structures, and charitable giving programs.
